This full-time position reports to the Office Team Leader and accepts assignments from the General Manager and Ownership. Scheduled hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

  • Administer payroll, benefits, recruiting, hiring, creating and maintaining company policies and procedures
  • Administer safety programs and initiatives to ensure the safety and well-being of Doritex employees


  • Bachelor’s degree in HR preferred, will consider associates degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 2-4 years’ experience in HR field
  • Experience administering payroll and benefits
  • Strong background in recruiting
  • Proficient with computers (Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Excellent communication and interview skills
  • Experience working/communicating with employees with a variety of skill levels and educational backgrounds
  • Experience with developing/implementing new employee orientation programs, job postings, job descriptions, policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of New York state and federal employment laws
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent listening skills and ability to exercise discretion
  • Self-directed, fast paced, proactive, and ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of employee retention initiatives, and conflict resolution
  • Some safety knowledge preferred, additional training will be available
