Since its roots in 1862, making it one of the oldest art institutions in the country, the Albright-Knox Art Gallery has compiled and displayed art pieces from significant artists throughout history such as Frida Kahlo, Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol. In 2001, the Pierce-Arrow Museum opened its doors to show the public its wonderful antique collection of cars and transportation, as well as extraordinary relics of Western NY’s past. If you’re going to be visiting Western NY and are craving some of NY’s natural scenery, then of course Niagara Falls is a definite for your itinerary. This National Park Service site marks the place where Theodore Roosevelt took the oath to become President of the United States. This site also has a museum.

If you are fascinated by architecture, then you have to visit this National Historic Landmark. Frank Lloyd Wright is known for his work developing the design of a Prairie house. This is one of his most significant works. The complex consists of five original buildings totalling 29,080 square feet, as well as two additional buildings that were added after 1907.

This distillery produces their craft spirits onsite, completely from scratch. They are known as the largest craft distillery in Buffalo. Not only can you come in for happy hour on Friday or Saturday between 5PM and 6PM, but you can also go on one of their daily distillery tours.
